It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley A. Bell, of Perrysburg, Ohio, who left us on April 30, 2023, at the age of 80. Shirley was born on November 10, 1942, to Harold (Horsey) and Audrey Bell. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Shirley was known for her warm and welcoming personality. She radiated love and kindness, and her infectious smile was a constant presence. She had a way of making everyone feel like family, and her outgoing nature and love of laughter made her the life of the party.
Shirley Bell was a truly wonderful person, and those who were lucky enough to know her described her as "good to the core," "selfless," and "one of my favorite people."
Shirley was an intelligent and accomplished woman who attended college and was recognized on the dean's list for her hard work and dedication. She was a hard worker her entire life, sometimes holding multiple jobs, and eventually opened her own business.
In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, Shirley was also a talented artist. Many family and friends have her works of art proudly displayed in their homes. Shirley loved to cook for her family and friends and her euchre games were always filled with laughter and joy. She had a famous margarita recipe that was enjoyed by all.
While we mourn the loss of Shirley, we take comfort in knowing that her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched. She will be remembered as the most genuine and kind person, always a shining light.
