Shirley Ann Bradbury

Shirley Ann Bradbury, 83, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at her residence. Shirley was born on January 10, 1932 in Port Clinton, OH, the daughter of Donald and Juanita (Jones) Wood. On December 31, 1973 at St. John Lutheran Church, she married Harry A. Bradbury and he preceded her in death on March 11, 2006. Shirley worked as an operating room technician for H. B. Magruder Hospital for over 30 years and then she worked at Wal-Mart for over 10 years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Shirley especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughters: Sandra (John) Cox and Susan (Richard) Couture; Grandchildren: Heather Cox, Shannon Couture, John Cox II and Christopher Cox; 2 Great-Grandsons: Austin Cox and Jeremy Cook; Brother: Robert (Betty) Wood and Sister: Darlene Worz. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister: Velma Junge and her in-laws. Visitation will be 6-8pm, Monday, May 18, 2015, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend James Lehman at 11:00AM, Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Shirley may be given to the Ottawa County Humane Society, 2424 E. Sand Rd., Port Clinton, OH 43452 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2500 N.
