Sheri Dawn Michele Brouwer

Sheri Dawn Michele Brouwer, 59, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo surrounded by her loving family. Sheri was born June 22, 1964 in Washington, DC to Peter and Barbara (Smith) Ohs. She graduated from Crossland High School in Temple Hills, MD in 1983. Sheri married Steve Brouwer on October 20, 1990 and they shared 33 years together.

Sheri worked for the United States Navy for seven years, spent 14 years raising her daughters and worked at McDonalds for 15 years. She was a member of Oak Bend Church in Perrysburg and served many years as an Awana leader and loved teaching Cubbies. She loved spending time with her family, especially facetiming her grandson, Mason. She was an avid sewer and was wonderful at quilting. Sheri enjoyed eating seafood and going to the beach. Sheri will be missed for her love, compassion, and her vivacious personality.

She is survived by her husband, Steve; daughters, Brittany (Michael) Ooms, Rebecca Brouwer, Ruth (Nevin) Haas; her parents, Peter and Barbara (Smith) Ohs; sisters, Karen (Kevin) Pashkevich Reio, Diane (Jeff) Wood and Linda (Tommy) Warren; her father-in-law, George Brouwer and step-mother-in-law, Grace Brouwer. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Muriel Brouwer.

Friends and family will be received Friday, May 31, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Oak Bend Church, 11275 Eckel Junction Road, Perrysburg, Ohio.
