SHEREE KAY (STACHOWSKI) MEYER On March 4, 2012, longtime Perrysburg resident, Sheree Kay Meyer, quietly passed away at the home of her son in Basalt, Colorado , from cancer. Sheree, the 40 year resident of Perrysburg, was a graduate of Bowling Green High School yet attended her first 3yrs at Holland High School . She also attended Bowling Green State University for two years until a near fatal accident when she was only 19yrs old, which gave her her forever cute quirkiness, which made Sheree, Sheree. She was a beautiful and caring wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, friend and neighbor. Sheree is survived by her mother, Lillian Abdo-Snavely, another long time Perrysburg resident. Also surviving are Sheree's children, Teree Johnson and Greg Meyer, and her only grandchild, Vincent Johnson. Sheree will be joining her father, Bernard Stachowski, her late husband, Gene Meyer, and finally her last favorite pet (there were so many), Sugar Puff. Friends will be received from 3-7 P.M. on Thursday, March 15, 2011 in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Visitation will continue after 10:00 A.M. on Friday, March 16, 2011 at First United Methodist Church, 200 West Second St. in Perrysburg with funeral services beginning at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Gary Rode officiating. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park . Donations may be made in Sheree’s name to the Shining Stars Foundation, www.shiningstarsfoundation.org or 970-925-STAR a charity which helps kids that are afflicted with cancer.
