SHELLY L. “BLOSSOM” PFITZER With sadness we share the passing of Shelly Lynn “Blossom” Pfitzer who lost her courageous battle to cancer on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio where she was surrounded by her loving family. Shelly was born in Toledo Ohio on June 28, 1962 to Frank and Viola (Keck) Eberflus. She was a graduate of Rogers High School and later married Michael J. Pfitzer on October 21, 2001. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Michael J. Pfitzer; children, Tiffany (John Neary) Harris, Stefani (Todd) Kerschner, and Damien Blossom; grandchildren, Ashton, Alivia and Ava Mills, Dylan and Bella Kerschner as well as Weston Blossom; brother, Frank (Carol) Eberflus; mother-in-law, Phyllis Pfitzer; former husband, Ben Blossom as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Shelly was preceded in death by both her father, Frank and mother, Viola. After 18 years working at El Matadore, Shel worked hard to establish her dream to open and operate her own successful flower shop, Blossom Design Floral Boutique located in Swanton. Shel was very appreciative and thankful for her many loyal customers and associates. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Friends will be received on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where her family will celebrate her life that evening at 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, those considering memorial contributions are asked to consider either Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to Shel’s family. Her family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving and compassionate care. .
