Shelley A. White

Shelley A. White, age 68, of Holland, Ohio, died May 17, 2023, after a courageous fight. She was born in Toledo to the late Bill and Betty (Estrel) White. Shelley graduated from Whitmer High School in 1973, where she was the Homecoming Queen. She was most recently employed with U.S.F. Holland.

In her free time, Shelley loved to travel, especially cruising with family and friends, Becky, Jody, and Toni. She visited 32 countries in her journeys. She also enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. Shelley found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister, fun, kind and thoughtful. With her endearing personality, Shelley was liked by everybody and was the favorite of many to be around and share time with. She will also be remembered for her love of dogs, particularly Siberian Huskies, of which she owned nine in her lifetime.

Left to cherish Shelley’s memory is her loving daughter who was always at her side, Crystal (Todd) Zattau; the six grandchildren who were her world, Zack, Trace, Troy, Taylor, Trent, and Zia; siblings, Billy, Danny, and Diane White; and beloved partner of 48 years, Tony Williams.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Shelley’s life and share her story in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11:30 a.m. with committal services and burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
