Sheila L. Lockhart Hensley

SHEILA LOCKHART HENSLEY Sheila Lockhart Hensley, 49, left this world unexpectedly on June 23, 2012. She was born in Toledo to Noble and Betty Lockhart on August 26 1962, her dad’s birthday. Sheila married Samuel (Chip) on September 9, 1989 in Pearson Park. Chip became a brother to our entire family and always will be. Shelia was an accomplished legal secretary working for several law firms in Toledo. Her favorite job was being a caregiver for her mother alongside her sisters, Judy and Sue. She was also a surrogate mom to all her nieces and nephews and spent many a night tolerating their shenanigans. She was deeply loved by her family and many friends and we will have stories to share for all time. She was preceded in death by her father, Noble and brother Mike, and father in law Samuel P. Hensley Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Betty, her loving husband Chip, sisters Judy (Ken) McClean, Sue (Jim)Gouttierre, Sonia (Rick) Freeman and Theresa Seegert, brothers Bob, Jim, Don (Barb) and Steve (Sharon) Also all of her special nieces and nephews who found such joy and understanding with her. Sheila was the sister-in law of Connie Arenz, Dianna (Jake) Gerrasi, Rosemarie Koza, Judy (Jim) Larson, Leslie (Sheila) Hensley, Larry (Tammy) Hensley, Heidi Garcia, Step Daughter: Jessica Maroudis, and Step Grandson: Lukas Maroudis and mother in law Gerda (Gill) Hensley- Lawson. Sheila will be missed by her best friend Vickie Horner and her dogs Samara and Sammie. Friends will be received in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121) from 5-9 Wednesday and 3-9 Thursday where funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. with burial to follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
