Shayne Lombardo

Shayne Erik Robert Lombardo, 34, of Oregon, OH went home to be with the lord on Saturday, May 14, 2022. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 19, 1988, to Rocky Lombardo and Sherene Chaney. He attended Gibsonburg High School. His hobbies were Beatles memorable, watching his Patriots, collecting movies and playing video games.

Shayne’s presence was one of a fierce loyalty and devotion to his family and God. While he was known as a gentle giant to all who knew him, if anyone ever said a word against his loved ones, he would be the first one to come to their defense. His favorite team was the New England Patriots – who will sorely miss their number one fan cheering them on. When not watching football, you could catch him immersed in a video game (as his dad often did, usually with a camera rolling) or spending time with his family or listening to music. His humor, carefree attitude, and loving nature will be dearly missed to all who knew him, and the many happy memories he helped create will never be forgotten.

Shayne is survived by his father, Rocky Lombardo; his siblings, Anthony ‘Kiah’, Katelyn ‘Kate’, Thomas Lombardo, and Brittny (Justin) Laird; his grandmother, Wanda Lombardo; grandfather, Timothy ‘Tim’ Sizemore; his stepmother, Stacie (Randy) Lawhorn; his Aunts, Katina ‘Tina’ Lombardo, Angie (Fidel) Arrequin, Katrina McRae, Kim Chaney, Sabrina Chaney; his Uncles Kevin (Cyndie) Lombardo, Wayde ‘Tony’ (Sherrie) Lombardo,  David Lombardo, Shawn (Dodi) Chaney; his niece, Audrielle ‘Audri’; his nephew, Micah; and many cousins, including his cousin and buddy, Ian. He is reunited in heaven with his mother, Sherene Chaney; his grandfather, Pasquale Lombardo; grandmother, Francelia Chaney; aunt Gina Lombardo; and his loving dog Biscuit.

Visitation for Shayne will be on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home – Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH (419) 691-6768. A memorial speech led by the family will begin at 5:00 pm. The family encourages all who would like to share a memory of Shayne to speak as well.
