Sharon Marie Stricklen

Sharon Marie Stricklen, 73, of Port Clinton, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at her home. She was born July 12, 1947 in Fremont to the late Arthur and Florence (Sues) Merle. In 1967 she married Tim Arnold and they had two children, Tim (Anne) Arnold and Tracie (Marcus) Williams. In 1992 she married Carl Stricklen and he died in 2009. Affectionately known as “Charlie Brown” by her siblings, Sharon was a truly kind and generous person with a heart of gold. She would feed you if you were hungry; or give you a place to sleep if you didn’t have one. Just don’t drink her last Pepsi or eat all of her Good-n-Plenty! Sharon may have only been 4’6” but she had a heart and attitude of a Giant. In addition to her children, Sharon is survived by her step son, Michael Stricklen; grandchildren, Nicholas and Ethan; brother, Bob (Pat) Merle; sister, Bea Pfefferle and several nieces and nephews. Per Sharon’s request there will be no services and cremation has taken placed. In lieu of flowers her family request donations be made to St Vincent de Paul Food Pantry of the Ottawa County Humane Society.
