Sharon Sherwood

Sharon G. Sherwood, 79, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on February 23, 2024. She was born in Toledo on March 2, 1944, to her late parents, Charles and Geneva (Wheeler) Luce. In 1976, Sharon married her husband, Charles Sherwood, and the two were together until his passing in 2013.

In her free time, Sharon loved going to the casino and playing slot machines, doing scratch offs, and playing cards. On a nice day she could be found out boating or fishing, and she certainly had an appreciation for nature. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be incredibly missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kimberly (Dave Walker) Malone, Marty (Mary) Miller, Jason (Maria Smith) Sherwood; grandchildren, Tiffany, Brittany, Amber, Shyanne, Baylee; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Mady, Liam, Jaxon, Lucas, Maddox, Maverick, Lilly, Wesley, Aria; siblings, Chuck (Joan) Luce, Pat (Steve) Desko, Tom Luce, Steve Luce, and Amy (Stanley) Speelman. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Sherwood.

All are welcome to a visitation at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 12-4 p.m. with her funeral service beginning at 4 p.m. Interment will be held privately amongst the family.
