Sharon Eva Penny

Sharon Eva Penny, 81, of Perrysburg, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. Sharon was born March 13, 1943 in Grayling, Michigan to Dale and Evon (SanCartier) Penny.

Sharon had many jobs over the years. She was a machine operator, a bookkeeper, and a waitress. Her last job was at a steel plant where she loaded steel coils. But her favorite job of all was being a mom and grandma.

She is survived by her children; Karen (Ken) Sims, Terrie (John) Richardson and Jeffrey (Tracy) Schramm; grandchildren, Kendra (Todd) Miolla, Kandance Miller, Kassie (Joe) DeStazio, John Richardson, Josh (Amber) Richardson, Carrie Richardson, Lindsay (Kevin) Galambos and Sarah Schramm; nine great-grandchildren and brother, James Penny. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia Arnold and brother, Thomas Penny.

The family would like to thank the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo doctors, nurses, and staff for the kindness and compassion shown to them and Sharon.
