SHARON DOROTHY NOEL 6/24/1945-12/8/2016 Sharon D. (Ellwood) Noel was welcomed into heaven with open arms, Thursday, December 8, 2016 by her parents, son, sister and brother-in-law. She was born June 24, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert and Dorothy (Goodman) Ellwood. Sharon married Gilbert L. “Skip” Noel on July 9, 1966 whom she remained married to for 50 years until her passing. Sharon worked for the Toledo Health Department until having her three boys, where she became a stay at home mother. Her love for children and babies eventually led her to become a well-known caregiver for many wonderful children over the years. Many she cherished forever. She also loved her 5 four legged companions. Sharon enjoyed concerts, especially the Oakridge Boys, shopping, gambling, cruises, vacations, her doll collection and spending time with her grandchildren and niece. She will be greatly missed by all her knew her. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert “Skip”; children, Brandon (Cheri) and Brad (Shannon); grandchildren, Cody, Calyn, Haley, Cameron and Alexander; niece, Debbie (Karl) and great-nephew, Andy. She preceded in death by her parents, son, Brian, sister, Joyce Shank and brother-in-law, Bill Shank. Services will be private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
