Sharon Jo Murray

Sharon Jo Murray, 84, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2021 at the Orchard Villa Nursing Home in Oregon, Ohio. She was born in Bellevue, Ohio on September 6, 1936, the daughter of William C. and Evelyn E. (Young) Palluch. Sharon spent her early years raising her family. In her 40’s, Sharon returned to school and became a registered nurse. She worked at the former Parkview Hospital in Toledo, until it’s closing, and then the former Riverside Hospital of Toledo, for 20 years, retiring in 1997. Sharon was devoted to her family in every way, even during her most trying times. She cherished every minute she spent with her children and grandchildren. Sharon would try to never miss any of her grandchildren’s activities; always wanting to be there to support and cheer them on! Her best friends were Cindy and Emily whom she dearly loved. They spent many hours together, usually over a good meal! Sharon is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Ford) Kebker; son, Steven Murray; grandchildren, Eric (Laura) Kebker, Melissa (Matt) Dunn, David (Jamie) Kebker, Paul Kebker, Shawn Kebker, Catherine (Alex) Wood, Seth (Haley) Kebker and Mary Kebker; eight great-grandchildren; and her niece, Debra Swain. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Shirley Gardner. Due to COVID restrictions, a private service will be conducted with interment in the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery, Toledo, Ohio.
