Sharon Margaret Kobal

Sharon M. Kobal, 84, passed away on June 15, 2026, following a lengthy battle with failing health. She was born on December 1, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late William and Irma (Aregood) Minnick.

Sharon was a high school graduate from Willoughby Eastlake North in Eastlake, Ohio.

Sharon obtained her real estate license and later retired from Erie Island Realty.

Sharon was a woman who appreciated life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed boating and fishing, dog-sitting for neighbors, working on puzzles, cooking, listening to a wide variety of music, and watching movies of every genre. Strong yet compassionate, she was devoted to and supportive of her family. She was also a member of several yacht clubs and cherished the friendships she made through them.

Sharon is survived by her children, Michael and Christina Colasante, and her brother, Howard Minnick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Max Kobal; her former husband, Ray Colasante; and her brother, William Minnick.

Services will be observed privately for the family.
