Sharon L. Kampfer age 77 of Toledo passed away June 25th 2024 surrounded by her family. Sharon was (the daughter of) Elmer F. Kampfer and Ocia L. Kampfer. (Sharon was raised mostly) in Maumee, Ohio. Sharon was apart of the MHS graduating class of 64’. Sharon was the most selfless person you could’ve ever met. She was the heart and glue of her giant family that consist of 8 children and over thirty grandchildren. She also fostered over fifty plus children including anyone and everyone that needed a home. Sharon was an avid church goer. Everything was in Gods hands, he came first! Honestly if it wasn’t for her faith she probably wouldn’t have made it as far as she did. She was definitely a fighter. She didn’t let go without a good fight. She enjoyed lots of different things but she enjoyed spending time with her family the most. She also enjoyed a good bingo game with her best friends or just watching a good show. If you knew Sharon you knew Mamas Family, Golden Girls, I Love Lucy or The Andy Griffith Show. She loved her shows but not without a cigarette and a hot cup of coffee. Sharon was one of the most amazing people you could’ve ever met. She had the heart of gold and was the last person to ever pass judgment. To know Sharon was to realize and know that this world was a better place with her in it!

Sharon is survived by her siblings: Rosemary Busick and Richard (Patricia) Kampfer; Children: Rosemary Marie (Richard), Jennifer Lynn (Michele), William George (Connie), John Franklin (Jenny), Matthew James (Jenny), Meagan Shayne (Brittanee); Grandkids: Timothy (Nicole), Christopher (Beth), Aaron, Brandon, Jeania (Josh), Faith, Jeffery Jr, Sieara (George), John Jr, Jasmine, Jenna, Julie, Tristan, Jacob, Ryan, V, Jessica, Matthew Jr, Alexander, Brooke, Michael, and Shayne; Great Grandkids: Aliciana, Joseph, Jace, Ayden, Jeffery lll, Kaylynn, Gannon, Ellie, Emma, Emilia, Karter, Adam, Grant, Amirah, Jax, Julius, & Josiah; Additional But Important: Sue Hysell, Nechi (Lee) Cindy, Margaret ,Lee Jr, Connor, Veronica, Robert, Adrianna & Izayah.

Sharon was Preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Ocia Kampfer; Siblings, Myron Elmer, Merlin Wayne, John Fredrick, Donald Franklin, and Barbara Jean; Child: Jeffery Sr; Grandchildren, Ashley, Ashley G, Justin, Brad & Andrew; Close friend: Pamela DeSot.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 pm in Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St, Maumee, OH 43537.
