Sharon R. Guest

Sharon Ruth Guest, 96, of Stow, Ohio, formerly of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her daughter. Sharon was born on September 17, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio, to Foster and Ruth (Gilbert) Orns.

She married Richard Guest on May 25, 1949, and they shared 70 wonderful years together until his passing on November 4, 2019. Sharon was dedicated to serving others and spent many years volunteering with the Red Cross and in various other capacities within her community. Sharon loved gardening and arranging flowers. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sharon is survived by her son, James (Karla) Guest; daughter, Barbra Finnemore; grandson, Ryan Finnemore; granddaughter, Meredith (David) Reed and great-grandson, Ethan. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Douglas R. Guest and brothers, Foster Orns, Jr. and Charles (Peg) Orns.

A graveside service for Sharon will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 11:30 A.M. at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery.
