Sharon Lynn Gates

Sharon L. Gates, 60, of Lakewood, OH, and formerly of Port Clinton, passed away, unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Port Clinton, OH, on December 04, 1952, the daughter of Burnell L. and Lois E. Waggoner Gates. Sharon worked as a sales associate for Levin Furniture and also worked for K-Mart in Middleburg Heights, OH. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Mother: Lois E. Waggoner Gates; Father: Burnell L.Pat Gates; Sisters; Sandra L. Householder & Diane E. Daniel E. Margulies; Nephew & Nieces: Trevor S. Householder, Taryn L. Householder, Magda G. Margulies & Samantha E. Margulies; Great-Nieces: Kayleigh M., Ashley B. & Taylor G. Householder. Sharon was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Carl & Elsie Waggoner and paternal grandparents: Harmon & Anna Gates. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00AM, Monday, July 22, 2013 in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Sharon may be made to St. John Lutheran Church Sunday School. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton, OH, has assisted the family with arrangements.
