Sharon Forche

Sharon Forche, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 20, 2014.  She was born in Waterville, Ohio on June 9, 1937 to Martin and Matilda (Pelo) Hertzfeld.  She retired from Olive Garden on October 13, 2014 after 11 years of service.  She also worked as an STNA for several nursing homes.  Sharon was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and participated in the choir, sewed altar cloths and banners, was a communion distributor, served on the Worship Committee and was involved in Bible studies.  She had a real talent with interior decorating, sewing and baking/cooking but her greatest joys were her family and working in her yard. Sharon is survived by her children, Sharon (Vic) Wilcik, Sue (Dan) Kaseman and Rick Forche; grandchildren, Sharon (Johnny) Munoz and Danny Kaseman; great-grandson, Johnny Munoz; and brother, Dale (Gloria) Hertzfeld. Visitation will be Monday, November 24 in Christ the King Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, Toledo, Ohio  43623 after 10 AM where a Memorial Mass will follow at 11 AM. Heartfelt thanks go to her doctors, nurses, Hickman Cancer Center and ProMedica Hospice staffs for their care and support and the family suggests any memorial contributions be to the cancer center or hospice.  Arrangements are by the Walker Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to the family at walkerfuneralhomes.com
