Sharon Elizabeth Clauson

Sharon Elizabeth Clauson (Hensley) of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away April 2nd 2026. She was proceeded in death by her parents John Hensley and Shirley Hensley(Thomson) , brother John Hensley II and sisters Ellen Haro(Hensley), Kathleen Laurel(Hensley) and Rosalie Wilburn(Hensley). She is survived by her brother Robert Hensley and his wife Betty and Brother-in-laws Herbert Wilburn and Eleuterio(Denny) Haro and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Sharon, having no children of her own, cherished the time she spent with all of the nieces and nephews of her family, who lovingly called her Aunt Sharon, Big C and Shi-bear. She passed onto them her knowledge and love of sewing, crafting, reading, her Faith in God and love of Family history.

"Like a rare gem, your love is precious and timeless, a beacon of light in the treasure trove of family." This best describes Sharon to all those who knew and loved her. She always had a smile, hug, advice or well deserved look of disapproval to give you when needed. But most of all she was LOVE and will be greatly missed.

A private cremation service will be held, honoring Sharon's wishes for a simple farewell. For those wishing to pay their respects, a memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends.
