Sharon Chessher, 65, of Walbridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Hospice Northwest Ohio surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 8, 1951 to John and Dorthea (Grossjean) Bastubee in Oregon, Ohio. Sharon graduated from Lake High School and went on to help run the family business, B & J Auto Service, which she took great pride in, with her brother, Butch. Sharon fought two years with Ovarian Cancer and stood strong the whole way through. The thing Sharon valued most in her life was her family. Sharon loved to travel to Disney World, Pigeon Forge, Kalahari, and Cedar Point. Sharon is survived by her children, Mike (Brooke) Flannagan, Terri (Thomas) Laurell; grandchildren, Britney, Kristofer, Ashley, Jessica, Thomas, Joey, Sheldon, Phoebe; great-grandchild, Remington; brother, Butch (Judy) Bastubee; sister, Rhonda Reed; brother-in-law, Jim (Barb) Rupp. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Terry; and parents. Sharon also wanted to mention her BFF, Joyce Laurell, “I know you will take great care of our kids and grandkids...I love you.” The family would like to thank Doctor Phibbs and all the staff on 7 south at Toledo Hospital. Also to our hospice family, thanks for everything you did for mom, we will always be grateful. A Graveside Service will be held at Lake Township Cemetery on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.
