Sharon Ann Bugert

Sharon Ann Bugert, 69, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2012 with her family at her side. She was born July 14, 1942 in Toledo to Cloyd and Marjorie Theis Bugert. Sharon was a registered nurse, earning her degree from St. Vincents School of Nursing. She also held a Masters degree in Education from the University of Toledo. She worked at many local hospitals and as a school nurse. Her career ended as an RN with the Juvenile Detention Center. In her free time, Sharon enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing bridge daily, going on sunny vacations and spending time with her family and pets. Surviving is her loving daughter, Ellie Jeremey Munger; grandchildren, Ashley and Blake Munger; sister, Marcia Witmer; and brothers, Bill Judy and Bob Carolyn Bugert. Her parents, brother, James, and brother-in-law, Dan Witmer, also preceded Sharon in death. Friends are invited to visit from 5-7:30 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2012 in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd., where a ceremony to celebrate Sharons life will begin at 7:30 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Erie West Hospice or Kingston of Sylvania.
