Sharon Beach

Sharon K. Beach, 81, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2024, in Maumee, Ohio. She was born on November 8, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio, to Clifford Earle and Mildred Lucille (Baumhower) Patton.

Sharon began her career as a beautician after she graduated from Springfield High School and later worked in retail at Lion Store, ABS, and Meijer. In her later years, she found great joy in babysitting her grandchildren, creating countless cherished memories with them. Sharon loved gambling, which she enjoyed with family and friends. Her passion for dolphins was evident in her extensive collection.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Robin (Scott) Struffolino; son, Bryan (Susie) Beach; grandchildren, Robert (Savori), Ryan (Kirstin), Tyler Struffolino, Kaylie (Josh), and Kevin Beach; great-granddaughter, Olivia; and nieces and nephews, Shelly (Tim) George, Keith (Nancy) Barnes, John, Lee, Tonia, and Nate. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Mildred Patton; beloved husband of 57 years, Robert Beach; sister, Beverly Barnes; and brother, John "Jack" Patton.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Maison Dardenne Walker Funeral Home in Maumee, Ohio. A funeral service celebrating Sharon’s life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Roth Cemetery in Monclova, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of Sharon’s memory.
