Shandonrose Beaverson

Shandonrose “Shanny” Beaverson, of Grand Rapids, died April 2, 2015 at St. Like’s Hospital. Shanny was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Even in her and our darkest days, Shanny could make everyone laugh. Her humor stayed with her until the end. Her presence made life lighter for everyone around her. Shanny was born in Clay, Ohio to Clarence and Elizabeth (Wills) Hageman on October 16, 1943. She was a proud employee of Manufacturer Enamel where she worked as a spray painter. Shanny loved her family more than anything. She loved to take vacations and looked forward to any occasion that brought her children and grandchildren together. She enjoyed boating and traveling. She always put others first, and would do whatever she could to help others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Shanny is survived by her loving children, Tammy (Danny) Harris, William (Laurie) Beaverson; Sheila (Kevin) Bernhard; grandchildren, Danyal Harris; Jason (Missy) Harris; Joshua Beaverson; Kevin Bernhard, II; Jessica Beaverson; Todd Bernhard; Zachary Bernhard; great Grandchildren, Isaiah Harris; Nicholas Harris; Jaxon Bunker; sister, Christine Leffler and her best friend and companion, Gary DeLong, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wilson Beaverson; parents Clarence and Elizabeth Hageman; sisters, Laura Byram,; Bonita LaPointe; Esther Dotson and brother, Clarence “Skip” Hageman. Friends and family will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 12 to 7 pm on Thursday where funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, April 10, 2015.
