Serell Carter

Serell DeLove Carter died on November 23, 2019 in his home at Sunshine Communities in Maumee. He was born in Toledo on February 1, 1978.  He moved to Sunshine in July of 1993 and quickly became a beloved member of the Sunshine family. Serell had a smile that could light up a room.  He was quiet, but observant and intelligent.  He  enjoyed going to the movies, being read to, being outside, listening to music, and anything Harry Potter! He loved basketball and water balloons.  He even had an opportunity to go fishing at Maumee Bay State Park.  He enjoyed different opportunities, and trying new things. Serell is survived by his Sunshine family who will miss him terribly.  A memorial service will be held at Sunshine at a later date.  Sunshine Communities would like to thank Hospice of NW Ohio, and Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home for their kindness.
