Selma B. Walters

Selma B. Walters, 96, of Port Clinton died Friday, January 2, 2009 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton. She was born on August 2, 1912 in Greenup, KY to John M. and Ada Haare Adkins. In 1932 in Portsmouth, OH she married Frank E. Walters, and he preceded her in death in 1989. Selma worked as a homemaker. She was a member of The Church of God, Port Clinton. Selma enjoyed her church and especially enjoyed her family. Selma is survived by her children: Virginia Fran Anderson of Port Clinton, Larry Donna Walters of Portland, TN, and Patricia Ann Runyon of Port Clinton; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM, Monday, January 5, 2009 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton with visitation one hour prior from 10 11 a.m. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
