Sean Mulholland Cree, age 31, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly after a fatal car accident on I-475 on Friday, November 1, 2019. Sean was born on September 12, 1988 in Toledo, Ohio to Richard and Melinda (Shannon) Cree. Sean was a 2007 graduate of Northview High School. He was involved for many years with the Erie Shores Council Boy Scouts of America, travelling to Philmont Scout Ranch in 2008. Sean was a self-starter and actively involved in many community activities such as the Rotary Club of Toledo, and constructing sets and scenery for Central Catholic High School’s musical, Les Miserables. Sean was a man whose generosity knew no end, and he loved to make everyone around him laugh and smile. He was the first one on, and the last one off the dance floor displaying epic dance moves…but more than anything, Sean had a deep love for all his family and many friends, who will miss him most of all. Sean is survived by his mother, Melinda Shannon Cree; brother, Jeremy (Beth) Cree, sisters, Jennifer Cree (Russ) Kahler and Alexandria Cree (William) Randle; brothers, Nicholas Cree, Eric Cree, and; nieces and nephews, Chelsie Cree (Kelly McBane), Zachary and Matthew Kahler, Charlie Walsh and June Cree, and Áine Randle; and special friend, Katie Bruhl. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Cree; grandfather, Richard Shannon; and grandmother, Marcia Meader. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 2-6 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in Sean’s name to the Rotary Club of Toledo Foundation for their Polio Eradication Program.
