Sean David Crawford

Sean David Crawford, 32, of Martin, Ohio died Saturday morning, April 25, 2009 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Oak Harbor, Ohio. Sean was born in Oberlin, Ohio on December 9, 1976 to Thomas H. and Kathleen A. Largent Crawford. He was a service technician for Commercial Air Compressors in Northwood, Ohio for the past 5 years. Sean enjoyed his life to the fullest. He owned and road a Harley-Davidson Street Glide Custom which he spent many hours customizing into a one of a kind cycle. He also enjoyed camping, hunting, snowmobiling locally and in the Upper Peninsula, and participating in antique tractor pulls. He liked to spend time with his friends who said he liked anything with a motor. He also loved animals and was a member of the NRA. Sean is survived by his father, Thomas of Martin, OH, brother, Erik T. Ann Crawford of Martin, sister, Julie T. Kurt Amstutz of Helena, OH, nephews, Garrett, Ethan, and Brody, niece, Samantha, grandmother, Katherine Plott of Lorain, OH, and his special friends, Dawn, Joey, Heath, Levi, and Mary. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Crawford, and grandparents, John Plott, and Gerald & Marcella Largent. Visitation, for Sean, will be in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St. Genoa, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, Monday, April 27, 2009. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 204 S. Main St., Genoa, OH. Interment will be at a later date in the Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa. The family suggests that memorials for Sean be directed to the American Cancer Society.
