Scott Alan Riggs

SCOTT ALAN RIGGS Scott A. Riggs, age 57, passed away June 27, 2019 in his Perrysburg home surrounded by his loving family. Scott was born June 29, 1961 in Tawas City, Michigan to Denton “Jack” and Connie S. (Maple) Riggs. He was a graduate of University of Central Florida and a professional Beech 18 pilot for Ace Air Cargo Inc. He earned his Master’s degree in International Business and Logistics from the University of Missouri in Kansas City and worked in that field for 25 years Scott married the love of his life, Margaret T. Frommert on July 9, 1994 and together they shared 24 years and have been blessed with three wonderful children. Scott was a pilot and his passion was spending time with his family and flying. He will be dearly missed, but will live on in our hearts forever. Along with his wife (Margaret) and mother (Connie), Scott is survived by his children, Victoria Riggs (23), Ryan Riggs, LCpl,USMC (20) and Carter Riggs(15); siblings, Kay (Doug) Rockel, Craig (Lauren) Riggs and Andrew (Cindy) Riggs; family members; Paul (Linda) Frommert, James Frommert, Mary Jo (Alan) Mistal, Martha (Dan) Kausch and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Friends will be received Sunday June 30th from 4-6 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) with a funeral service beginning at 6 P.M. Burial will be private.
