Scott A. Mettler

Scott A. Mettler, age 60 of Toledo passed away December 15, 2021 in his home with his beloved dog, Ryan by his side. He was born May 14, 1961 in Toledo to James and Jeanne (Bellaire) Mettler. Scott was a hazardous waste truck driver for the same company for 31 years. He was an avid Jeff Gordon fan and loved his Mustang. Scott was preceded in death by his father, James; and his dog, Dupont. Surviving are his children Staci (Daniel) Morris, Nicholas Mettler and Kelsey (Nicholas Martin) Mettler; mother, Jeanne; grandchildren, Nathan, Madelyne (Joshua), Jacob, Cameron, Isaac, Levi, Emma, and Skylar; great-grandson Carter; brother, Michael (Jessica); sisters, Theresa, Michele (Alan); and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. Toledo, on Monday, December 20, 2021 after 3 pm where memorial services will follow at 7 PM. Interment will be private. The family suggests memorials to the Toledo Area Humane Society
