Scott E. Hibbs

Scott Eugene Hibbs, age 58 of Toledo died Saturday, May 27, 2017. He was born April 2, 1959 in Toledo to George R. and Eileen M. (Harris) Hibbs. A graduate of Start High School, Scott went to work at Toledo Ticket as a Pressman for over 20 years and most recently worked as a Chauffeur for Birmingham Limousine. Scott was an avid fan of college football, the NFL and the NBA. His favorite teams were The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Miami Dolphins. Scott enjoyed camping, fishing on the Maumee River, trips to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula but most importantly Scott loved his family and friends. He loved everyone and was a natural born “social butterfly”, lighting up a room with his smile and charm. Scott was also a hard worker and had a true dedication and passion for the things he loved. He believed that hard work always pays off and shared this belief with his son, Derek on his college graduation day. He is survived by his sons, Bradley, Derek and Trevor Hibbs; mother, Eileen Granata; father, George Hibbs; brothers, David Granata and Jack Hibbs; sisters, Georgia Blevins and Angela Granata. Scott was preceded in death by his step father, Charles Granata and his brother, Jeff Hibbs.
