Sara Jo Annette Covert, age 76, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, Michigan. She was born on January 6, 1945 to Everett Junior and Theresa Arlene (Walbolt) LeFevre in Toledo, Ohio. Sara Jo had a long career teaching English and working at Lasalles, New York Carpet World and Home Depot. She loved traveling, especially road trips with her mother, daughter, grandsons , niece and nephew; along with visiting her sisters. She was a proclaimed history buff, who enjoyed nature, reading, writing stories on Facebook, poetry, and singing along to her favorite music. She always stood up for causes she believed in. Sara Jo is survived by her ex-husband, Harold William Covert of Spring Hill, Florida, daughter Bethaney Arlene (Mark) Webster of Toledo and her sisters: Margaret Ann (David) Goodrich of Manchester, Michigan and Judith Arlene Hiller of Mentor, Ohio; grandsons: Cameron Michael Robinson, Cayden Matthew Robinson and Chase James Robinson; nephew: Seth Walter Frederick Goodrich of Manchester, Michigan; niece; Hannah Theresa Goodrich of Grawn, Michigan; cousins: Mary Bernice (David) Bruhn, Arlene Theresa Long-Keister, Michael John Walbolt, Thomas Henry (Margo) Walbolt, Cheryl Runion, David Hatas, Daniel (Cathy) Hatas: and life-long friend Susie Karnes. She had a close circle of friends from grade school who were very important to her life. Her dog Yoda also survives her. Sara Jo was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law David Goodrich; uncles: Frederick Burchard Walbolt, Robert Walter Walbolt, Wendell Hatas; aunts: Bernice Margaret Long, Ellen Louise Walbolt, Kathryn Walbolt, Betty Jane Hatas; cousins; David Frederick Walbolt, Daniel Robert Walbolt and Paul Everett Hatas. An outdoor celebration of Sara’s life will be held on July 24, 2021 from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. at Wildwood Metropark, The Wade Pavillion for Friends and family to come and celebrate Sara Jo's life lived.
