Sara Louise Sally Graves Calhoun

Sara “Sally” Louise (Graves) Calhoun went home to be with her Heavenly Father on February 7th, 2018. Sally was born October 2, 1934 and lived a humble life in service to the Lord and those touched by her life. She is preceded to her final home by her husband, Eugene and many other family members. She is survived by sisters, Rose (Graves) Covarrubias and Ruth (Graves) Showalter; several nieces nephews; and two sons, Dale and Keith (Marcia) Calhoun; and grandson, Chris (Michelle); and great-granddaughters, Shelby and Payton. Sally was a long time member (50+ years) of Calvary Bible Chapel where she was involved in teaching until the last few years. She worked at the Toledo Board of Education for 30 + years. Her life was marked by her humbleness and commitment to putting the needs of others before her own. She passed quickly and was blessed to avoid lingering issues. We were fortunate to have her as part of our lives and look forward to seeing her again. Visitation will take place at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 West Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43623 on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2 until 8 p.m. Services will begin in the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
