September 30, 2023, Sara Therese Booth, 50, of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully at Ebeid Hospice surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 11, 1972 in Toledo, OH to Gene and Nina (Geisel) Konczal. Sara’s passion in life was children, especially being a mom to her two daughters, Taylor and Hannah. She turned that passion into a career, first as a librarian at St. Clement School and then as a pre-school teacher at Sylvania First United Methodist Church. All her preschool children loved and adored “Mrs. Booth”.
Sara had a beautiful smile and was liked by all that met her. Spending quality time with her family was very important to Sara. Every summer the extended family would vacation in Outer Banks, NC to enjoy a week of fun and relaxation. Sara was an animal lover, she adored her dogs Tux, Leo, and Guinness (RIP). She was an enthusiastic fan of the Cleveland Browns, enjoyed bowling with friends and family in the ‘Another Night Out’ bowling league, liked watching true crime television shows, and made a lot of friends while attending events & classes at The Victory Center.
Sara is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Michael Booth; daughters, Taylor (Jacob) Flagg; Hannah Booth; parents, Gene and Nina Konczal; grandmother, Rita Konczal; siblings, Josh (Karen) Konczal, Emily (Bill) Riffle, and Tony (Shelley) Konczal; father and mother-in-law, George and Suzanne Booth; brother-in-law, Donald (Lyn) Booth; nieces and nephews, Cade and Cora Riffle, Max and Charlotte Konczal, Alex, Andrew (Olivia) and Adam Booth; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
