Santosh Mehta

Santosh Bhatia Mehta, 69-years-old, went to her heavenly abode on Monday, May 29, 2017, surrounded by her family and friends. She courageously fought breast cancer for 7 years. Throughout her life she exemplified love, strength and generosity that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith. She loved her family above all else and greatly enjoyed playing cards with her friends. Her smile and laughter will never be forgotten. Santosh was born on January 19, 1948 in New Delhi, India to Mr. and Mrs. PL and Kailash Bhatia. She was one of four sisters, Kanta, Usha, and Veena, and two brothers, Drs. Raj and Anil Bhatia. Married for 47 years to Sagar Mehta. They have two children, Dr. Pankaj P. Mehta and RJ Mehta (spouse) and Monica Mehta and Trey Morgan (spouse) along with five grand-children, Chazz, Aneal, Nathan, Vincent, and Deven. Visitation information for friends and family of Santosh will be held at Walker Funeral Home, located at 5155 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623, on June 2, 2017 from 10 am to 12 pm.
