Santiago Flores

Santiago Flores, 89, of Erie ,PA passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 5, 2015, at Manchester Commons. He was born September 15, 1926, to Reyes and Sofia (Zamora) Flores in Giddings, Texas. Santiago retired from the Medical College of Ohio as a Custodian in 1991. He loved dancing, camping and spending time with his family. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his children and family. Santiago was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Ramona; his son, Jose Flores; his sister, Jesusa Perez; his brothers, Reyes Jr. and Roberto Flores. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Hilda (Greg) Wojciechowski, John (Adela) Flores, Olga (Benny) Flores, Emma (Louis) Tudico of Erie, PA; sisters Zulema Dela Serda, Paz Vieyra, and brother, Alfredo (Lamar) Flores; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 NavarreAvenue, Oregon, OH. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, October 9th, beginning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
