Sandy S. Karamol (Kuresz), 75 years old, passed away on Monday, September 23rd at 8:59 A.M. in her sleep at her home of 41 years in Monclova, Ohio. She was born on November 29, 1943 to parents, Chester Kuresz and Dorothy Moxley at Toledo Hospital. Sandy went on to attend Springfield High School where she was set up on a blind date by a friend with her husband, Edward Karamol, of 57 1/2 years. They married in February of 1962, Edward and Sandy lived on Rega Drive in Toledo where Edward Karamol Jr. was born on April 20, 1964 and their second son, John Karamol was born on January 5, 1968. Sandy worked in surgical supply at Toledo Hospital for 25 years where she met and loved lifelong friends. She spent the years after retirement doing what she loved most, traveling the U.S. in her camper with Edward; cousin, Jim Stover; and her loving companions, Buddy and Max. Sandy was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lena Hetrick; mother, Dorothy Moxley; aunt, Jenny Stover; uncle, Edgar Stover; and cousin, Bill Moxley. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Karamol Sr.; children, Edward (Natalie) Jr., John (Nicole); grandchildren, Devin Karamol, Kylee Karamol, Brianna Karamol, Jacob Karamol, Taylor Neeley; great-grandchildren, Oliver Gibson, Raelyn Karamol, and Jaxon and Ashton Neeley; and her Jack Russell, Max. Family and Friends will be received on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 4-8 P.M. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee. The funeral will be at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, September 27 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 108 W. Broadway St., Maumee.
