Sandra Saxton

Sandra Lee Saxton, age 65, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014.  She was born on July 4, 1949 in Marion, North Carolina to Donald  and Willnetta Dills.  Sandra, a graduate of Libbey High School,  was employed as a sales associate at  J.C. Penny.  She enjoyed playing bingo and loved to entertain for the holidays and family get-togethers. She adored her children and grandchildren. Sandra is survived by her husband, Burton D. Saxton, III; children, Donald R.(Cheryl), Jason E. (Angela) , Jerry A. (Jennifer) and Chester Louis; grandchildren, Michael A. (Elizabeth), Jessica L., Jasmine M., and Kalliste; great-grandchild, Nikolai; sisters, Margaret (Albert) Gillis and Nancy Pickron.  She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Chester Staler. Visitation will be on Monday from 2 to 9 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where services will be held on Tuesday at 1 pm.  Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
