Sandra Lee Lepiarz, age 75, of Maumee, OH, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 27, 1948 to David and Joann (Fetter) Morris in Toledo, OH.
Sandra graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1966.
Sandy was a devoted wife of 50 years and a mother that spent endless hours at the hockey rink with her boys. She had the joy of watching her kids and grandkids skate on the ice, and even ventured out on a walker! Sandy loved to line dance with her husband, Edward, and her many friends at the Eagles. She was a lifelong fan of Elvis. She worked at the Radisson downtown Gift Shop and stopped once she was blessed with a grandchild. Sandy spent many hours watching and loving her grandkids with all her heart. Her joy of gambling was celebrated with many trips to Las Vegas. Her strong support was her Bunco group, which included Bonnie, Dawn, Geri, Toni, Joan, Kay, Marcia, Cathy, and Deb. The group started over 52 years ago and is still going strong. Sandy touched many lives, not just those in her family but also her friends, especially those in her Waterside community who she truly loved. Last but not least, her rock of the last three years, her puppy Jazzy Jo (known as JJ) saved her when she lost the love of her life.
Sandra is survived by her children, Jeff (Kim), and Corey; grandchildren, Austin, Carlee, Anderson, and Camille; brother, Dave (Sherry) Morris, and sister-in-law, Julie Morris; cousins, Debbie, and Sharon; in-laws, Mike (Debbie) Lepiarz, Carol Braunfels, Jeannie Thorton, Mark Lepiarz, and Pete Schlegal; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her dear husband of 50 years, Edward (Sonny) along with her parents, father and mother-in-law, Ed and Virginia Lepiarz, brother Tom Morris, and other extended family members.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Mason-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., where a funeral service will take place at 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
