Sandra Kay Kegerreis

Sandra Kay Kegerreis (Carwein), age 77, died Monday, March 1, 2021 at home surrounded by family and loved ones.The daughter of Wilbur J. and Helen L. Carwein (Fisher), she was born September 14, 1943 in Indianapolis, IN. Sandy loved people, especially children. She was a talented artist who liked to collect Beanie babies and scrapbook. Sandy and her husband traveled extensively. One of their more memorable trips was to the 2000 Rose Bowl. She adored her grandchildren and loved the time she spent with them. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia Ann Lowe and daughter, Robin S. Trotter. She is survived by her husband, Carl E. Kegerreis; daughter, Carla (Kegerreis) Berryman; son, Robert J. Kegerreis and 5 grandchildren. Logan and Gunner Berryman, Ashley Trotter, Megan Pallas and Joshua Kegerreis. Friends may visit the family on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave (west of Corey Rd) where a service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery 5725 Hill Ave. Toledo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer Research Foundation 620 Sea Island Rd Suite 288 St. Simons Island, Ga 31522.
