Sandra Lee Holcombe

Sandra Lee Holcombe, 70, of Genoa, died Friday afternoon at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. Sandra was born March 11, 1945, in Mankato, Minnesota, to Elwood and Donna (Hotaling) Sayler.  On May 7, 1983, in Genoa, Ohio, she married James O. Holcombe and he preceded her in death on October 10, 2011. Sandra worked in warehousing for FAG Bearings and retired in 1990 as a secretary at Rudes & Reeder Insurance in Curtice.  Her hobbies included making crafts and sewing and working with her flowers and in her garden. Sandra is survived by her sons, Dennis (Tonia) Adkins of Clay Center and Ken (Kim) Adkins of Genoa, step son, Tim (Denise) Holcombe of Napoleon, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and brother, Wesley Sayler of Arizona.  Her parents and half brother, Earl Helgerson, preceded her in death. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 501 West St., Genoa, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2015.  Burial will take place in Clay Township Cemetery.  Memorials for Sandra may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
