Sandra L Fore

Sandra L. Fore, 80, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Elizabeth Scott Community. She was born on August 8, 1940 in Alva, Kentucky to Elbert and Goldie (Cornelius) Fore. She was a 1958 graduate of Thomas A. DeVilbiss High School. She retired from Glasstech, Inc. after 20 years of employment. After her retirement, she enjoyed part-time employment at Jacob’s Garden, Hoen’s Garden Center and That Special Woman, developing many close friendships wherever she worked. Sandra was a long-time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where she sang with her family and the women’s trio. She was a very creative person. She had many different hobbies, including carpentry, interior decorating, stained glass and gardening. She received her Master Gardener certification in 2001. She was a member of the Bedford Garden Club and designed the Japanese garden behind the Bedford Library. She is survived by sisters Beverly Bolger and Shirley (Joe) Couturier, niece Debbie (Ron) Filby, nephews Jim (Ronda) Huffman, Lyman (Jacqui) Robertson, Dan (Erin Krupka) Robertson, and 8 great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dearest friend of 54 years, Jean Machado. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Goldie Fore and brother-in-law, Bob Bolger. In honor of her wishes, there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
