Sandra Diebert

Sandra “Sandy” K. Diebert, 83, of Martin, Ohio died April 28, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Lucas County, Ohio on May 21, 1939 to Edward L. and Agnes M. (Younker) Albright. Sandy graduated from Lake High School. She worked for over 20 years at Lutheran Home of Mercy retiring in 2001.

Sandy married her sweetheart, Walter Diebert on November 3, 1961 and spent 54 years together until his passing in 2015. Sandy enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on Jeff Gordon, shopping on QVC and cookouts with her family and friends.

Sandy is survived by her children, Kevin (Jennifer), Kyle (Tammy), and Kim (Todd Smith) Diebert; grandchildren, Cassie, Aaron, Kyle (Kayla), Lauren, Megan, Samantha, and Emily Diebert; great grandchildren, Haley, Lilly, Hudson, Landry, Jace, Aaron, Elise and Paisley; many extended family and friends. She was preceded by her parents; husband; and brother, Lewis Albright.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Genoa Christian Church, 415 Main St, Genoa, Ohio 43430. Memorial donations may be made to the church or Lutheran Home of Mercy in Williston, Ohio. Arrangements were entrusted to Robinson Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa, Ohio.
