Sandra Cross

Sandra J Cross was born on April 26, 1939 in Whitehouse, Ohio. Sandy graduated from the Toledo

Hospital School of Nursing and went on to have a long, fulfilling career as an RN at St. Luke’s

Hospital. She delighted in her garden and her goldfish pond. Sandy passed on April 15, 2025

peacefully, surrounded by family.

Sandy is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy J Cross. She is survived by her loving children,

John Cross & Christine Kiphart, Anne Cross & Dave Nelms, Mary Cross & Mike Szeles, Pete Cross

& Mark Leasor; her beloved granddaughter, Zoe ‘Honey Bee’ Cross-Nelms, and her sisters Sharon

Meerdink & Carol King. Sandy leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews. She is also

survivedby her feline overlord, Samwise ‘Sam’ Gamgee.

Ohio springtime

& it’s hard to tell

when the snow might stop

following the path

that leads out of this world

& leaves us in wonder

Sandy and her childhood friend Tina broke a branch and ran away.
