Sandra Kay Ankenbrandt

Sandra Kay Grames Ankenbrandt, loving mother and grandmother, left this world on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 to join her husband, Robert, in heaven. Sandy was born December 13, 1938, in Bowling Green, Ohio to Howard and Bessie Whitacre Grames. Sandy led a life full of love and compassion, devoting her time to family and friends. She was happiest when she was shopping, knitting stockings for Christmas, or surrounded by her family. Sandy is survived by her four children, Kathryn Brian Munding, Christine Frederick Duprey, Lisa Timothy Williams and Robert Tracey Ankenbrandt Jr.; 13 grandchildren, Amber Chad, Timothy, Margaret, Michael, Amber, Samuel, Zachary, Robert III, Rachel, Sandra, Ashley, Elizabeth and Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Jacob; brothers, Howard and Robert Grames and sister, Helen Rice. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; brothers, Donald and James; and sisters, Marilyn and Frances. Mom, we love you and will miss you! We cherish your memory; you will live forever in our hearts. We know you are happy in Heaven with Dad. Friends and family may visit at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 2 to 8 pm. Prayers will begin at the funeral home on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 10 am followed by Mass at 10:30 am at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 104 W. Broadway, Maumee.
