Loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and friend, Sandi Boos passed away May 11, 2016 in her home. A native of Toledo, Sandi was born March 24, 1945 to the late Edward Biniecki and Leona(Bialecki) Suydam. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindi Salmans (Patrick) and Scott Harrison (Elva); grandchildren, Tiffiny Harrison Ross (Darren), Jeffrey Harrison, Spencer Salmans and Collin Salmans; brothers, Ed Biniecki (Julie Christensen) and Dave Biniecki; sister, Tina Denis (Gary); and nieces and nephews, Jared Biniecki (Kim), Marisa Asllani (Rod), Mike Biniecki (Erin), Kailey and Krista Denis. After retirement, Sandi was an in home care giver. An avid bowler, Sandi was a longtime member of the Queens Bowling League and assisted with Special Olympics bowling. Sandi loved being a grandmother speaking often of her grandchildren to anyone who would listen. She was a devoted fan of both the Mud Hens and University of Michigan. “M” GO BLUE! Sandi had a very caring nature, was family oriented and will be lovingly remembered for her open, fun-loving personality and good sense of humor. Family and friends are invited to visit from 2-7 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2016 in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where memorial services to celebrate Sandis life will begin at 7:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Special Olympics or to Sandis family.
