Sam Chapman

Sam Chapman, 29, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, May 28, 2015 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. Sam was born on November 2, 1985 in Port Clinton, OH, the son of Onnie Freeman Chapman and Eva Marie Sutherland. He was a cook at Crosswinds Restaurant. Sam was a Mixed Marshal Arts Cage fighter and was a member of the Association of Boxing Commissions. He enjoyed playing with his kids, watching and collecting movies and spending time with his friends. Sam will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Mother: Eva Sutherland; Father: Onnie Chapman; Children: Alex Ambrozy, Eathen Chapman and Taylor Chapman; Sisters: Dessa Sutherland and Faith Chapman; Brother: Eric Chapman; Step-Brother: Eric Reed; many loving Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews; Former Wife: Katie Lynn Dodds and the Mothers of his Children: Suzanne Ambrozy and Jessica Wagner. Sam was preceded in death by his grandmother: Bonnie Sutherland and uncle: Dick Sleight. A Celebration of Life will be held at 5-7pm, Monday, June 01, 2015 at Crosswinds Restaurant.
