Sally Ann Weintraub

Sally Ann Weintraub, age 62, of Maumee, Ohio died at her home on Saturday, June 18, 2016. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 28, 1953 to Roland and Wilhelmina (Brooker) Weintraub. Sally had a very thoughtful, compassionate and giving nature, which complimented her very well in her profession, first as an elementary school art teacher and then as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. Sally enjoyed painting, especially watercolors and taking her dogs for long walks. Her greatest joys were her family, her friends and her dogs. She is survived by her sisters, Marcia (Legaspi) Punsalan, Susan (Harold) Schwartz and Judy (Bill) Brixey; brother, Daniel; longtime partner, Scott Rice; beloved canine companion, Pumpkin and many nieces nephews and good friends. In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her son, Paul; brother, Henry, and beloved canine companions, Casey and Samantha Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
