Sally Petersen Fastzkie passed away December 31, 2023.


She was born April 5, 1934, the daughter of Carl & Bessie Short Petersen and the great granddaughter of Adolphus Kraemer, the founder of Oak Harbor, OH.


Sally graduated from Port Clinton High School and married her high school sweetheart, Carl (Fuzz) Fastzkie, Jr. .He preceded her in death April 13, 2007. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Laurie Fastzkie.


Sally loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and leaves behind to cherish all the great memories, son, Mike (Shannan) Fastzkie, S.C. and daughter, Kris (Bob) Lorensen, Port Clinton, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Megan (Mike) Carter-Rylan,Maddox & Kenzie Lou Carter, Nathan (Amanda) Fastzkie-Addison, Brooklyn, Hayes & Olivia Fastzkie, Marc (Lindsey) Lorensen-Landen, Bess (Andrew) Pinson-Stoddard & Abel Pinson, Jessica Lorensen, Lydia (William) Harwood, as well as several nieces and nephews.


She was active at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Port Clinton (past member of church council,choir & Naomi Circle), past member of Lake Erie Herb Society, Oak Harbor knitting group, Ohio Star Quilters & past Bd member of Ida Rupp Public Library. She also volunteered in the Margruder Hospital gift shop for several years.


Sally enjoyed spending time in her many gorgeous flower gardens. She (and Fuzz) enjoyed carving and Sally did EVERY craft imaginable.


There will be no visitation and a private burial at a later date.
