Sally Barnum

Sally Barnum age 72, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at The Toledo Hospital. She was born in El Paso, TX on December 17, 1948, to Ralph and Caroline (Shearer) Reed and was raised in Des Moines, IA and Whitefish Bay, WI. Sally graduated from the University of Denver earning her bachelor’s degree in Education. She taught first and fifth grade at Ft. Miami Elementary School in Maumee for 7 years before she devoted full time to her own children. Sally enjoyed golfing, reading, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved her dog Hattie and the many other pets she devoted her time to. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Eric Barnum; daughter Caroline (Robert) DiCarlo; son, Andrew (Meghann) Barnum; grandchildren, Nora, Ian, Oscar, Louise and niece, Sarah (Julie Varner) Reed Services for Sally will be private.
