Ruth Ann Thornton

Ruth Ann Thornton Brown passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born March 30, 1937. Ruth Ann attended Oak Harbor High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Agnes Distel Brown, siblings, John Brown, Lucille Hoezle and Delores Linke. Ruth Ann is survived by her husband, Don Thornton, daughters, Kathryn James Imbery, Deborah Joseph Badger and son, Gregory Rhonda Hamilton; grandchildren, Courtney, Brandon Cassandra, Lindsay, Mallory and Kelsey Imbery, Adam Melanie Badger and Morgan Hamilton; great grandchildren, Jaina Badger and Zander Imbery; siblings, Anna Brown, Rosemary Goeke and Kenneth Linda Brown. Ruth Ann had a great love for life, her family and animals, especially her cats, Alfred and Rose who were always on her lap. The Funeral Mass will be held at Monday, December 23, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Main St., Genoa, with interment to follow in Clay Township Cemetery.
